Director Misko Iho aims to capture essential cinematic pleasures with his body of work in commercials and music videos. We are more than pleased to have participated in his latest pursuit of stunning imagery, together with DOP Juge Heikkilä.
With over hundred years of tradition in feature films, music videos have shaped our aesthetics for only a few decades. However their impact in the diversity of our audio visual culture has been profound. The talent and their experiments constantly pursue new ways of expression in photography, storytelling, fashion and technology, blending it all with the best traditions of cinema and music.
We believe in this art form and we are proud of it. We also believe in the success of the portrayed artists themselves, the band “Sunrise Avenue”. Wishing them inspiration (and fame and fortune) is our pleasure.
Misko, Juge and colorist Timo Luomanen applied their sensitivity to color and light to create “Welcome to my Life”.
A same creative trio also responsible for this, and that, and wow.

We live in the middle of all this fast and furious technology, with constant waves of digital breakthroughs happening, enabling us to do many fun new things. These are exciting times.
That said, it makes us special happy to see old camera technology put to the right kind of use, the original use: capturing emotional narratives. One of our favorite spots this month comes from the production company Also Starring with Johannes Lassila producing: “New Friends” for SubTV.
We congratulate director Klaus Härö and Kinotar producers Lasse Saarinen & Rimbo Salomaa for the nomination of “Postia Pappi Jaakobille” (Letters to Father Jacob). It will be the Finnish contender for the 2010 Oscar for the best international film.
Storyline
“The film tells a story of a lingonberry twig. We’ll follow it’s life throughout the year from the autumn till the end of summer on one simultaneous shot. On the soundtrack for this cinematic piece we’ll hear dramatic movie score, emphasizing twig’s stubborn and hardy nature.”
- Pekka Hara, director
We were asked by Nokia to create a promo video for the worldwide launch of the new Nokia N900. The idea behind this demo was to show the phones power and speed, in terms of hardware as well as software and new features. Our starting concept was the “big bang”, a powerful explosion which would then create the N900 handset, piece by piece.
