“One day Moomintroll notices that something strange has happened in the Moomin Valley – everything is grey; not just the sky and the river, but the trees, the ground, the Moominhouse, too! Moomintroll runs to ask the well-read Muskrat if he knows what is happening. Muskrat declares that this is the way things tend to look like before the earth faces an awful fate coming from the sky…”
This is how the incredible 3D adventure Moomins and the Comet Chase begins.
It was a chilly winters eve when Tomi and Tuomo embarked on a train from Helsinki to St. Petersburg. Raptori is back! JuFo III summed up the bands experiences like this:
“The conditions in this shoot were catastrophic. The band was starving, there was total disregard of human rights and the man introducing himself as a director called “Markus” made bizarre requests at inhumane times. “Run after the car!”, “Run again after the car!”, “Dress as clowns and make faces to the camera!”, “stare at the barrel of the shotgun!”. No rational explanation was given at any point to the band, which made the poor weather conditions seem even worse. “We would like to put that part of our lives behind us”, the commented members of Raptori in triad chorus.

Arto Halonen, an award winning documentarist, is nearing the completion of his first feature film “The Princess”.
A stellar cast of actors, with Katja Kukkola in the leading role, takes us back to the middle of the 20.th century charm. The film is based on a true story of a mental institution patient who for over 50 years enlightened the lives of her fellow patients and all those that took care of her.
The script is a masterpiece of cinematic entertainment that called for the only true storytelling format – The Film Negative. Even in the frenzy of sometimes chaotic digital camera technology chanting, this tale is calmly told in Super 16mm by DOP Hannu Vitikainen. Colour grading was performed by Pentti Keskimäki, now returning to Generator after many years and even more achievements in his art. Tools were chosen carefully, this is the first film to come out from our new Baselight Theatre.
Welcome back Pena!
Sincere congratulations and thanks to Arto!
Enjoy this trailer, this format and it’s lifetime of charm.
